One-Line Bio
Biography
As an aussie expat living in Singapore my new life allowed me to tap into my creative talents. As a way of meeting other like-minded women I joined a number of groups that nurtured and mentored me in my growing sewing and beading passion. Taking 6 months to make my first quilt by hand led me to buying my first sewing machine and I haven't stopped since. In addition I have found a love of beading and jewellery making. Now that I am returning to Melbourne I can continue my crafty plans.
Interests
Quilting, sewing, crafting - drinking good red wine, watching cricket and supporting Carlton, contemporary theatre, I am handmaking something nearly everyday - if I am not sewing, beading and jewellery making then I might be cooking middle eastern food or cooking delicious desserts. I enjoy spinning classes and pilates, movies and if I have some spare time reading
