As part of the Stitches and Craft Show I went to a workshop on patchwork felting. I am interested in learning more about felting and Annie from Room For Threads was very inspiring.
She has made some spectular wearable art
but she showed us how to Pre-felt - 3 layers of merino wool
How and when to add embellishment
Rolling at least 20 times in different directions
and then how to use prefelts to produce patchwork...which is to cut up your prefelts into the shape you want and then continue the felting process to "glue" them together. You can us Nemo thread to attach each piece and then remove the thread after you have felted
Something I want to tackle....perhaps a cushion to learn the technique
