I love this Burda 8090 pattern. I have made it again with some beautiful Japanese cotton fabric purchased from Tessuti..........it's becoming a fav fabric shop of mine
I took this photo from the giant skywheel on Birrarung Marr last night. A little dark but I love the night sky and the city lights looking down the Yarra. It was such a beautiful balmy evening.
Received this Christmas parcel from Amitie. The Christmas Santa fabric from Alexander Henry will have to wait till next year to be made into something special and a great bag pattern to make a grocery bag will be on my to do list for 2010.
On a perfect summer's day from the Sofitel I can see out to the bay, over the Yarra and the Botanical Gardens. Having just had a great buffet lunch with free flow champagne I feel like I am back in Singapore
Lots of wining and dining at my place this weekend. It really feels like Christmas. The tree is up, presents wrapped and lots of family celebrations..........and the cricket is on the TV!
I love Christmas. This would have been a very special day in 1964. A trip to "Town".... up early to catch the country train down to Melbourne and into Myers to see Father Xmas and the windows. We would have lunch at the Coles cafeteria and some Christmas shopping.
The Kaisa denim skirt hasn't beaten me. Finally finished for my neice.
An inner panel hides the zip and the outer panel has 6 buttonholes. I have used some beautiful Japanese cotton for the featured yoke pockets and inner flap that came from Kimono House. I love the covered buttons too. You can buy the kits from Nikki
