I was ahead of myself. I knew I had booked into my preserving class with the girls from Cunliffe and Waters so I looked on Etsy for some labels that could be personalised. These are from Little Beane boutique

Raspberry Ricotta Almond Tart

This is the most delicious dessert. It serves 10-12 and I like to bake it in a long rectangle tart tin with removable bottom. Serve warm with cream.

Collete Crepe Dress

Finally finished. This is the back....

 

Front

 

Next time I would redraft the neckline and make it more of a scoop, its a little too high for my liking. I was disappointed in the seam line being in the centre front of the skirt panel. Is ok when its a single colour but with a print it looks a bit odd. It's an easy pattern to make, no zips or armholes.

Mini Marvels

Out shopping and found glasses on sale that I want to use for mini desserts. I have been experimenting lately with lemon tarts and chocolate ganache tarts. I think the slightly larger glasses will be great for a raspberry jelly and rosewater cream that I saw Karen Martini cook. All for Xmas entertaining.

Crepe Dress Continues

I have added the bias skirt to The Crepe bodice.Instead of having a raw edge close to the body I have enclosed it in bias binding.

There is a women's clothing warehouse sale in Northcote on 27/28th November.

All proceeds go to Fitted For Work a service committed to helping long term unemployed and disadvantaged women obtain work, maintain employment and ultimately achieve financial independence.

Elegant Felted Scarves and Wraps

I bought this beautiful new book at a recent craft expo. More inspiration for when I get some space to do wet felting.

 

I love this wrap, it could easily be a baby blanket or hanging piece.

Colette Crepe Dress

 
I have started my Colette Crepe dress pattern.

I am liking how the bodice comes together. I have used hemming tap to hem the facing on the capped sleeve and the overall neckline facing. If I had my time over again I might make the sweetheart neckline or even redraft the scoop to be lower.

 

The wrap back looks good too.

Kokka Baby Quilt

I have just completed another baby quilt. Pattern here. My first one was a hit and I had enough fabric to make a duplicate for another family member.

 

The central square is a beautiful Kokka fabric and I used an orange perle thread to hand quilt
