Felted Booties

I have been meaning to post this for awhile but others just got in the way. Having learnt the resist method of felting I turned my hand to a smaller project  
of making booties. They shrink about 30%.

I think they are fabulous and now I have made my first lot I can see me experimenting.

Felted Cushion with 3D Flower

I attended Wendy Bailye's workshop on how to make a felted cushion incorporating a 3D flower. The fact that I made it in one piece with no sewing is amazing. Now that I know the basic method I can make lots of styles.

Made with a slit in the back so that I can add a 40cm insert and made from this beautiful Purple Rain wooltop from Open Drawer.

Champagne Nuno Felted Scarf

I am really happy with this scarf I made on the weekend at the VFI felting frenzy. Just a small amount of wool top required to nuno felt this champagne tissue silk bought from Open Drawer in Toorak Road, Camberwell. I love the lightness of these scarves and are perfect around my neck on these cold days.
