I took this photo from the giant skywheel on Birrarung Marr last night. A little dark but I love the night sky and the city lights looking down the Yarra. It was such a beautiful balmy evening.

Designer's Market

I am getting into the Christmas decoration spirit after visiting the Designer's Market at Fed Sq today.

I bought these beautiful red tapered candles for my coffee table and this unusual parafin wax bowl shaped candle holder. It has rock salt inside with a tealight.

Scandanavian Christmas Bazaar

Ok, another day another Christmas market. Family members rave about this one and I have never been around to enjoy it. My photos don't do it justice. Wonderful imported linens, Christmas decos and food items keep everyone coming back year after year at the Swedish Church in Toorak.

I treated myself to this wonderful christmas linen/cotton teatowel...made in Sweden

Marche Rouge and Other Markets

Today I went to the wonderful Marche Rouge market at the Nicholas Building. It's open on Saturday and if you are in town pop along. It has a real Christmas feel to it with some edible offerings and fresh flower posies.

Tomorrow I am off to the Scandavian Christmas Bazaar at the Swedish Church, Toorak

and if I have any money left on Sunday I have to have to go to The Melbourne Design Market at Fed Square Carpark.

Marche Rouge - Parisian Style Shopping Event

Have you been to Healesville lately? Not only can you pick up some fab local produce but there are two fantastic micro-breweries up there........White Rabbit and Giant Steps offering great food, music and beer

Tarrawarra

I love going to the Yarra Valley and one of our favourite places is Tarrawarra. Not only is there a fabulous small restaurant with magnificent vistas but also a museum of modern art. Its on the Yarra Glen- Healesville Road

In the distance the hills are black from the recent bushfires.
