I am getting back into my "Diamonds Are Forever Quilt".
I have sewn 15 strips all up with 12 of those connected.
I am nearly halfway...but it's a slow process and I find I have to have some other smaller projects on the go as well
and I have been using my new 1/4" foot

Half the case filled with crafty goodness...........I have to find room for my clothes!
Left over poly fill that I am taking back to stuff my Christmas birds...also doubles as good packing insulation for a couple of bottles of wine!

Birds, Bags and Blogtoberfest
My trip to Melbourne has been brought forward so I am in a panic to finish some projects, cutting out bird patterns and finishing off some gift bags.
I have bought some Tula Pink Nest range and I really like it. It's hard to find red fabric and I want this for Christmas.

Diamonds.........
and on the floor.
I have been laying out long strips of my diamond pattern, then collating them and numbering each strip. It's 18 diamonds wide but because its layed on the diagonal I probably will end up with about 36 strips to sew up. Its definitely a long project and I am doing other things in between. But I think Wednesdays might become my quilting day. So stay tuned for a WIP this afternoon. I am off to my Spinning (thats stationary biking) class now.
