Christmas Countdown - Reindeer Napkins

To go with my Christmas crackers I screenprinted my own reindeers onto fabric to make napkins.

I backed the napkin in red and now they are all sewn up and tied with ribbon and a name tag.

It's Raining Reindeers

I have always been an organised gal so thought I would make a start on some screen printing for my Christmas napkins between rain showers last week.

This detailed peony design took a very long time to draw and cut!
 

I have been using this book for great pattern inspiration as I am hooked on Japanese prints and patterns

Now to find some studio time

Journal Making

Well covers at least. I really enjoyed making a journal cover from my own screenprinting fabric.

This time I embroidered some linen/cotton in sashiko style (my own pattern) and used some Heather Bailey Pop Garden from my stash for the lining and pockets

as well as experimenting with this Cherry Blossom pattern

With little space and time to do too much big sewing I am finding these small projects just as fun.
